Hola!

Hola!
So yeah, we were able to watch the broadcast. Yesterday we got all of our recent converts rides to go watch it and no one could take us. So we just went to the church and used the office computer. Only the stake center in downtown Bahia Blanca had it streaming (because they are the only ones with a satellite.) So yeah, it was really awesome. Very spiritually uplifting. Facebook sounds crazy, I just wonder when its going to hit us here. No idea! Maybe it won't. Using Ipads and things like that will never come to Argentina. They would get stolen so fast! I'm curious about the church tours though...hmm. I don't know whats going to happen there.

About the window. We tried gluing all of the pieces together with super glue haha. But that didn't work very well. So we ditched the gluing and just put a piece of cardboard up. I'm not sure what to do with it. Pray to get transferred out of the house? haha. Yeah I'm back to normal again. It was definitely food poisoning. I got over the being sick from water a long time ago. But yeah, everything is good now, minus a cold. Geeze.

This week was kind of slow. We didn't really find a lot of new people. There is this one family that we are working with that is super close to baptism. The parents just need to get married but the mom doesn't want to. So we had an intense lesson with a member with them and they are still being hard about the subject. We challenged them to pray about getting married, so we´ll see where that is going to go. That's 3 more baptisms that would happen in July.   Every week we have about 5 investigators at church as an average. There is also this one guy that we've been working with who has just recently picked up the Book of Mormon and is loving to read it. But he can't give up going to his other church. It's a little weird.

We taught this 20 year old girl that we talked to on the bus. It was a super strange lesson. At first she was super normal and acted like she wasn't really religious, but when we started teaching, she went into crazy attack mode. Gah, it was terrible haha. She kept saying false stuff about our religion and things like that. She would not accept that a Book of Mormon could even be possible. We destroyed her with scriptures though haha, it was fun. Although she thought she was right regardless. In the end, the lesson calmed down and we got to explain the promise of the Book of Mormon. She accepted to read and pray. It was weird, it turned around like 180degrees. Oh well, it was awesome.

Well thats all that I have time for! I love you guys! Chau!!

Hello family!  And happy fathers day dad!

This week was kind of crazy. We went on a lot of exchanges for some reason. I think because it was the end of the transfer, everyone aka the leaders had to get it over with. So I did a lot of work in other areas. We had some awesome FHE's with people this week who are going to get baptized now! LEGIT! Oh by the way, I'm staying in my area in Harding Green! With E.Cross for another 6 weeks. YAYA! I'm super happy, I love it here and the people are awesome!

So this week I got pretty sick. bleh. FOOD POISONING! wooohoo! Its probably the worst thing ever. I wanted to die. My body was super weak and it removed anything inside of it in any way possible. haha. I'm going to leave it at that. But yeah, I couldn't even go to church to see my converts get confirmed or anything. It was so lame! It was either from a bad empanada or the water. Either way, I'm scared to eat/drink either one. I'm just barely recovering, and I still feel kind of weak and light headed. But I think I'm good enough for now. I don't really have desires to eat food still. I feel like I've been on a sick cycle for awhile now. I just cant get over everything. Also there is a super bad cold virus going around Argentina right now and several people have already died. The government is giving away free shots to anyone. I'm not sure if the missionaries are getting them. We're on standby until we hear something.

The mission conference thing. (He is talking about the special missionary broadcast that happens this coming Sunday) You bet we are going to watch it!  Even if we're not supposed to! haha Syke. But I imagine that we're allowed to. I heard that all of the churches are getting let out early so people can watch it. I heard its going to bring some big changes! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. More rules? Different angles? I have no idea what's going to happen haha.  Prediction... its going to be a lot more internet based. As in, we use computers and chat with people and things like that. But I'm probably super wrong. We'll find out though!

So our window broke this week and now it feels like its winter inside of our house. All I did was close the door and the glass fell out. Windows here suck. They don't know how to do them! Also..I did a service project this week helping some guy install in windows. I felt like I was helping dad again haha. Weird stuff.     Also there is a Washington street! I totally got a picture of it! bam! Its awesome.

Yay a package! Thanks! I'll be waiting for it! I'm super stoked, I've been living without music for a whole transfer basically. Umm last minute things to put in..hmm. flaming hot cheetos or tabasco cheezits. por favor! surprise me! haha. Pack it up with American stuff. And Asian stuff for sure! Well gotta run! I love you all! Chau Chau!

Hola Familia!

So transfers are coming up in about a week! Holy cow this transfer has gone by so fast! I seriously cant believe it at all. Bahía Blanca is awesome and I really want to stay. But 1 transfer areas are common, so I guess I wont be too shocked that I'm out. But I'm about 99percent sure that I.m staying. We have a lot more baptisms to look forward to next transfer, so there is no way that I can leave! Elder Cross could leave though. This is his 2nd transfer here. But again, 3 is common.. So who knows! There is no way to predict transfers, even though you want to. haha.

So this week was pretty great I guess. We had divisions and I went with the district leader for 2 days. I'm like way sick right now with a cold. There are times in the night where I wake up and I can't breathe. Its scary stuff, but whatever. Also I lost my voice several times this week. The water thing has been long gone, We bought jugs of filtered water, so were good now. I don't even touch the tap anymore.

This weekend was pretty nuts. Sunday was our baptism and plus our branch president asked us to give talks..nooo! I gave mine on repentance. Holy cow..funny story about my talk haha. Besides the fact that I was super nervous, everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. First of all, the microphone started making loud screeching noises about 5 minutes into my talk, it took us a couple minutes to get that one figured out haha.  Super embarrasing.  A couple minutes after that was over, I started having a coughing and choking attack haha. It sounds funny now, but I did it at the pulpit with everyone watching me. I was having a hard time breathing. Every time I breathed in, I had to cough instantly haha. There was something tickling my throat. It was sooo embarrasing! That lasted about a minute, and then someone brought me up a glass of water and then a little girl gave me a cough drop....haha. Dang.   Then a little bit after that, the bishopric slipped me a paper telling me that my time was up. I guess I was up there for like 20 minutes.

Right after church, we had the baptism. Only 4 ended up getting baptized. One of the kids backed out at the last second and we're going to do it the next weekend or the next. So to make a super long story short, the kid wanted to get  baptized, but his mom wouldn't let him get baptized in the clothes we had for him. She thought they were for a girl. It was just a jumpsuit! So yeah, dumb reason. And we checked with everyone, and that was literally the reason. The mom said, I don't want him getting baptized in girl clothes! haha...holy cow. Yeah, so we only had 4 and it was still really awesome!!

Today for p-day, we went to this awesome huge shopping mall in Bahia Blanca. Its like the only one here. There was a Subway and a Mcdonalds inside!! So we totally ate at Subway. It tasted good but it wasn't the same. I took pictures of us there, but I left the other memory card at home. This mall was great. I bought 2 scarves for the winter. I kind of lost track on how much I spent... Buyers remorse. haha. Shooot! We had an awesome time there, I want to go back! It felt like we were in the states again. Everything was super fancy too. So coming back to ol' ghetto Harding Green was rough haha. Well I think that's about all! I got your pictures for the cases in the mail! I am working on those getting sent off. The person who does them lives in Mar Del Plata, aka far away, so I have to figure out how to get them there.

I love you guys!! Thanks for all the support!! Nathan, endure to the end!! School is almost over haha! Oh and some of the houses are like that, not a ton. But there are a good amount of them.
Well gotta run!

Hola familia!

I'm sorry this is a day late haha. I'm sure yesterday you guys were all freaking out because I didn't write haha. It was a hectic day yesterday and we don't have a place in our  area where we can use computers...i know lame. So here we are today. Life is all good!

Yesterday was amazing. We had an FHE with 5 of our investigators and our mission president and his wife at their house aka mansion. Its a rare opportunity, not everyone has a chance to do this, but they invited us back after they came to the baptism we had a little while ago. We made the FHE about the Book of Mormon. I directed/led the whole thing. I was so scared! haha and super nervous, but it the end it turned out reallly good. The spirit was way strong there and everyone had a really good time. SUCCESS!   After, we mingled with them and we eat food and then we took a tour of their house. It was so great. Probably a highlight of my mission thus far haha.

So this week we started teaching these 2 girls of this family. They are going to get baptized probably in 2 weeks. They have been going to church for 2 years already and already know everything. Their dad is the one that just got baptized recently. So I am pretty stoked for that. The girls are really awesome and super funny too.

This Saturday, we should be having 5 baptisms! Yay! The family that we found a couple weeks ago. They are doing really awesome and just love having us over. Tonight we are going over for dinner and making pizzas! Super cool. During the week we also built a giant fire with them with tires, super cool! Its always a really fun time.

So the pictures, let me explain haha. We found this tree with baby doll pieces on it. Kinda scary no? I think its awesome. Also the house picture.. there are a bunch of super humble house here in our area that look like this. Pretty rough.

Well that's all I have time for. Again, sorry for the delayed email! It wasn't my fault! I love all of you guys! Chau Chau!
